The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), earlier known as the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), is the qualifying test for MBBS and BDS programs in Indian medical and dental colleges.

It is also an important test for those who want to pursue MBBS abroad. This test is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Earlier, the test was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). But now NTA which is an independent autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organisation conducts this test.

The examination offers 90,000 seats in MBBS and BDS Colleges of India and is usually conducted in the month of May every year but it will be conducted in September due to Covid-19.

    OUR VENUES

    Those who want to pursue a medical career should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology as their compulsory subjects in Class 10th and 12th and must have passed these subjects.  Marks in Mathematics are not considered in the NEET-undergraduate exam (NEET-UG).

    The NEET exam will be conducted online and in 11 languages — English, Hindi, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Marathi, Urdu Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, and Assamese.

    The duration of this exam is three hours and the aspiring student needs to answer 180 questions. The exam paper is mainly divided into three parts: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology).

    The application form for NEET Exam 2022 will be released in November 2021. Candidates who want to take part in NEET 2022 can visit the official website for NEET to fill the application form available from November 2021 onwards.
