Number of Applicants Hit a Record High! Over 18 Lakh Students Register for NEET UG Entrance Exam 2022
NEET UG Entrance Exam 2022 is one of India’s most challenging and competitive exams. Yet one of the surprising things about NEET UG Entrance Exam 2022 is that more than 18 lakh students have applied to appear for the examination this year. NEET UG Entrance Exam 2022 has seen the biggest leap in the number of applicants this year which is about 2.5 lakhs more than the last year. NEET Exam 2022 will be conducted on 17th July 2022. For a total seat of 83,125 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, and 525 BVSc & AH seats in 542 and 313 medical as well as dental colleges, the number of applicants has hit the record highest. According to the report, the total number of applicants for the NEET-UG Exam 2022 is 18,72,339 which is 2,57,562 higher than the NEET Exam 2021 and has been the highest ever registrations since the start of this examination.
The total number of girls who have applied for the NEET UG Entrance Exam 2022 is10,64,606, the total number of boys who have applied for the NEET Exam 2022 is 8,07,711 and a total number of 12 third gender candidates have applied to appear for NEET-UG 2022.

- 2022 – 18,72,339 more than 2,57,562 applications in comparison to 2021
